Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR), 49-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Philomath upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Warriors host Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Hidden Valley lost 37-35 in their recent non-league bout against Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR)

Next up, the Tigers play the Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 18. Junction City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 54-37 league loss to Crook County (Prineville, OR).
