The East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL), 30-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Oakwood Academy was tipped by Bob Jones (Madison, AL), 58-29, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Susan Moore for a non-league test on Monday, December 20.
