The Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) basketball crushed the host Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC), 56-28 in Friday's league test.
The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Eastern Alamance was trounced by Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 57-54, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host North Stokes for a non-league test on Monday, December 20. Rockingham County will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 52-28 league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
