Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY), 96-70 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bracken County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY) to play the Commodores in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Commodores come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Panthers play the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Augusta will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
