Texas High School Basketball - North Forest nudges Austin

December 17, 2022: Houston, TX 77023

In Saturday's non-league outing, the North Forest Bulldogs (Houston, TX) basketball squad edged the host Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), by a count of 60-58.

The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Worthing (Houston, TX). The Colts go into the 4A Region III District 21 outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Worthing was tipped by Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX), 59-54, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sharpstown for a 5A Region III District 19 outing on Monday, December 19. Austin will clash with a Apollos squad coming off a 65-59 non-league win over Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Apollos record now stands at 5-8.
