Connecticut High School Basketball - Bacon Academy knocked off by Griswold

The Griswold Wolverines basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Bacon Academy Bobcats to 57 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield for a Eastern Connecticut I contest on Tuesday, December 20. Griswold will meet a Panthers team coming off a 83-48 non-league loss to Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
The Bobcats (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen enter the Eastern Connecticut II contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Killingly ran past Waterford (Waterford, CT), 48-41, in a league contest.
