Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Borden Braves (Borden, IN), 54-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Musketeers host New Washington (New Washington, IN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-4. New Washington won 75-60 in their recent league bout against Crothersville (Crothersville, IN)

Next up, the Braves play the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Borden will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
