North Carolina High School Basketball - Elevation Prep Academy tops Central Carolina Prep

Elevation Prep Academy Honey Badgers (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Carolina Prep Defenders (Burlington, NC), 74-66 in a league bout.

With the victory, Elevation Prep Academy upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Honey Badgers travel to Virginia Prep Sports Academy (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Virginia Prep Sports Academy won 66-59 in their recent non-league bout against Tournament Opponent (, )

In their next game, the Defenders face the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 20. Central Carolina Prep will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Thunder enter the game with a 12-5 record after their 55-52 league win over South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
