Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX), 70-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Center (Center, TX) to clash with the Roughriders in a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Center won 58-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hudson (Lufkin, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Rains will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
