Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) and the host Hopkinsville Tigers (Hopkinsville, KY), saw Christian County's basketball squad hold off Hopkinsville by a tally of 62-60.
The Colonels (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Franklin, TN). The Admirals go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Franklin got by Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN), 53-47, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Owensboro for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Hopkinsville will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 80-46 league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-2.
