Alabama High School Basketball - Colbert County can't hold off Hatton

December 17, 2022: Town Creek, AL 35672

The Hatton Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Colbert County Indians to 54 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence County for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Hatton will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 57-44 league win over West Point (Cullman, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-8.

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Russellville (Russellville, AL). The Golden Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Russellville nudged Hamilton (Hamilton, AL), 76-50, in a non-league contest.
