Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD), 73-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Omaha Nation upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE) to clash with the Knights in a C2 District 3 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Oakland-Craig lost 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, NE)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Crazy Horse will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
