The Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR) basketball knocked off the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), 64-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mohawks (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR). The Hornets go into the 3A Region 3 test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Harrisburg notched a victory over Ridgefield Christian (Jonesboro, AR), 57-35, in a non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisburg for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
