The Firth Cougars (Firth, ID) basketball crushed the visiting Malad Dragons (Malad, ID), 54-19 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their test against West Side (Dayton, ID). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, West Side was trounced by Kelly Walsh (Casper, WY), 64-55, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grace for a non-league test on Thursday, December 22. Malad will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 64-42 non-league win over Evanston (Evanston, WY). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-2.
