The Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) basketball nipped the visiting North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT), 48-45 in Saturday's league test.
The Longhorns (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Hays-Lodge Pole (Hays, MT). The Thunder Birds go into the C District 9 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Hays-Lodge Pole was tipped by Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT), 53-40, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Big Sandy for a C District 9 test on Saturday, January 7.
