In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Tennessee Vikings basketball team scored a tight 62-57 triumph over the Gate City Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Tennessee will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Hurricanes enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 62-51 non-league win over Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
With the defeat, Gate City moves to 2-2 on the year. The Blue devils host Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) to meet the Wolfpack in a Mountain match on Tuesday, December 20. The Wolfpack enter the match with a record of 1-0. Ridgeview won 84-69 in their recent league match against Central Wise (Norton, VA)
