Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Haas Hall Academy Huskies (Bentonville, AR), 61-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Greenland upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Lavaca (Lavaca, AR) to encounter the Golden Arrows in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. The Golden Arrows go into the test with a record of 5-2. Lavaca won 56-48 in their recent league test against Mansfield (Mansfield, AR)

The Huskies now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Fork for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Haas Hall Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 66-46 league win over Green Forest (Green Forest, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 9-2.
