The Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) basketball felled the visiting Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), 55-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Westborough (Westborough, MA). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Westborough was beaten by Marlborough (Marlborough, MA), 55-53, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Littleton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3.
