In Saturday's league outing, the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR), by a margin of 73-34.

The Greyhounds (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region 2 outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Marshall smashed South Side (Bee Branch, AR), 78-65, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thayer for a non-league match on Monday, December 19. Izard County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Harrison (Harrison, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
