The Southside Panthers basketball team (Selma, AL), was nudged 61-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Keith Bears (Orrville, AL)
The Bears now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Keith will confront a Rams team coming off a 40-34 league loss to Greene County (Eutaw, AL). The Rams record now stands at 4-4.
The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier (Montgomery, AL). The Poets come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record.
