The Lafayette County Cougars basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Oden Timberwolves to 29 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradley for a 1A Region 7 contest on Wednesday, January 4. Lafayette County will battle a Bears team coming off a 62-29 league win over Taylor (Taylor, AR). The Bears record now stands at 7-2.
The Timberwolves (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Blevins (Blevins, AR). The Hornets enter the 1A Region 7 contest with a 3-12 record.
