Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) and the host Abbeville Christian Academy Generals (Abbeville, AL), saw Glenwood's basketball squad hold off Abbeville Christian Academy by a tally of 59-54.

With the victory, Glenwood improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Lakeside School (Eufaula, AL) to play the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Lakeside School lost 62-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA)

Next up, the Generals play the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings (Columbus, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Abbeville Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
