Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Antonito Trojans (Antonito, CO), 53-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hanover upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Primero (Weston, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Primero lost 41-20 in their recent non-league bout against Custer County (Westcliffe, CO)

Next up, the Trojans play the Moffat Cowboys (Moffat, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Antonito will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 72-8 non-league loss to West Grand (Kremmling, CO).
