Georgia High School Basketball - Appling County overwhelmed by Bacon County

The Appling County Pirates basketball team (Baxley, GA), was routed 56-34 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA)

The Raiders now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brantley County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 20. Bacon County will battle a Herons team coming off a 46-38 league win over Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Herons record now stands at 6-3.

The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Knights come into the AA Region 3 battle with a 5-4 record.
