Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) and the visiting Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), saw Hatton's basketball squad wallop Colbert County by a count of 63-36.

With the victory, Hatton upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Lawrence County won 49-33 in their recent league challenge against West Point (Cullman, AL)

Next up, the Indians play the Russellville Golden Tigers (Russellville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Colbert County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Golden Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton, AL).
