Ohio High School Basketball - Point Pleasant topped by Gallia Academy

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks basketball team (Point Pleasant, WV), dropped 48-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH)

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesapeake for a Ohio Valley battle on Monday, December 19. Gallia Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 79-44 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.

The Big Blacks (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Miller (Corning, OH). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Miller dropped by Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH), 59-17, in a league battle.
