Renton Red Hawks (Renton, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Highline Pirates (Burien, WA), 73-14 in a league bout.

With the victory, Renton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Rainier Beach (Seattle, WA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Rainier Beach lost 63-23 in their recent league bout against Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Highline will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 63-24 league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA).
