Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN) and the host Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), saw Jefferson County's basketball squad knock off Volunteer by a count of 68-59.

With the victory, Jefferson County upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. David Crockett won 63-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Cosby (Cosby, TN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Volunteer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
