Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Laurel winner over Sharpsville

The Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA) basketball felled the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA), 50-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartan (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers go into the WPIAL 3A 1 test with a 2-3 record.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a District 10 Region 4 test on Monday, December 19. Sharpsville will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 59-28 non-league win over Grove City (Grove City, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
