The South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL) basketball felled the host Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), 63-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Ponies (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Mt. Pulaski thwarted Decatur Lutheran (Decatur, IL), 83-25, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. Meridian will play a Knights squad coming off a 55-26 non-league loss to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-9.
