In Saturday's non-league outing, the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), by a margin of 57-12.

The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Polo (Polo, IL). The Marcos go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Polo smashed Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 37-32, in a non-league outing.

The Thunder now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Polo for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 20. West Carroll will clash with a Marcos squad coming off a 55-16 non-league loss to River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL). The Marcos record now stands at 5-7.
