Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chico Panthers (Chico, CA), 40-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Chico will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.
