Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Scots face the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Carlmont will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA).

The FIGHTING KNIGHTS now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Half Moon Bay for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. Hillsdale will face a Cougars team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
