Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Owego Free Academy Indians (Owego, NY), 53-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Chenango Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Owego Free Academy (Owego, NY) to play the Indians in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Indians play the Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Binghamton, NY) in a bout, on Thursday, December 22. Owego Free Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
