In Saturday's non-league test, the host Grandview Wolves ice hockey team scored a tight 7-2 win over the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks.
The Wolves (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Sabercats enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Red-Tailed Hawks encounter the Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 19. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 2-1 record after their 4-2 league win over Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO).
