The Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Guilderland Flying Dutchmen to 58 in the Blue Streaks non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Blue Streaks now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a Section 2 Suburban - Gray contest on Tuesday, December 19. Saratoga Springs will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 72-61 league loss to Schenectady (Schenectady, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-4.

The Flying Dutchmen (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY). The Brothers enter the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers Academy was nudged by Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY), 65-49, in a league contest.
