Virginia High School Basketball - Abingdon can't hold off Lee

The Lee Generals nipped the visiting Abingdon Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 83-79 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Generals face the Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, December 19. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 2-1 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY).

The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY). The Blackcats enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Prestonsburg was nipped by Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 83-66, in a league outing.
