In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Cardinal Hayes Cardinals basketball team scored a good 64-56 win over the Archbishop Molloy Stanners.
The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels come into the Catholic AA - New York contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Iona Prep dropped by Christ the King (Middle Village, NY), 54-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Stanners battle the Richmond Hill Lions (Richmond Hill, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Archbishop Molloy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 72-56 non-league loss to Edison (Queens, NY).
