The Meridian Hawks basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Argenta-Oreana Bombers to 47 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26.

With the loss, Argenta-Oreana falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL) to confront the Knights in a Lincoln Prairie game on Friday, December 20. The Knights go into the game with a record of 5-4. Blue Ridge lost 83-56 in their recent league game against Sullivan (Sullivan, IL)
