The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the visiting Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL), observed Austin's basketball team overcome Mars Hill Bible by a score of 74-56.

The Black Bears (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Mae Jemison defeated Columbia (Huntsville, AL), 82-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) in a 3A Area 15 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Mars Hill Bible will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 60-44 league win over Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL).
