The Hornets (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Loraine (Loraine, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region II District 14 contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Loraine was tipped by Roby (Roby, TX), 80-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles (Midland, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Baird will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 84-30 non-league loss to Iraan (Iraan, TX).
