The Baptist Prep Eagles basketball squad (Little Rock, AR), was crushed 56-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR)

With the victory, Jessieville advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Glen Rose (Malvern, AR) to meet the Beavers in a 3A Region 5 battle on Thursday, December 19. The Beavers enter the battle with a record of 1-4.

The Eagles now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fountain Lake for a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. Baptist Prep will meet a Cobras squad coming off a 66-46 non-league win over Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Cobras record now stands at 13-3.
