The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Woodland Cardinals (Marble Hill, MO) and the visiting Bernie Mules (Bernie, MO), observed Woodland's basketball team overcome Bernie by a margin of 56-41.

The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dexter (Dexter, MO). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Dexter dropped by Jackson (Jackson, MO), 62-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mules battle the Bell City Cubs (Bell City, MO) in a Stoddard County challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Bernie will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
