California High School Basketball - University Prep overwhelmed by Big Bear

December 17, 2024: Victorville, CA 92392

In Tuesday's league test, the Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA) basketball squad trounced the host University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA), by a score of 87-43.

Next, the Bears encounter the Granite Hills Cougars (Apple Valley, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 19. Big Bear will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 80-48 non-league loss to Corona (Corona, CA).

The Jaguars (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA). The Knights come into the Cross Valley test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Academy for Academic Excellence was routed by Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA), 54-48, in a league test.
