The Birchwood Bobcats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Lake Holcombe Chieftains to 41 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mellen for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Birchwood will confront a Granite Diggers team coming off a 74-58 league win over Drummond (Drummond, WI). The Granite Diggers record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Lake Holcombe falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Clayton (Clayton, WI) to confront the Bears in a Lakeland - East game on Friday, December 20. The Bears go into the game with a record of 2-2. Clayton won 52-37 in their recent league game against Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI)
