In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Spring Lake Park Panthers basketball team scored a big 72-49 triumph over the Blaine Bengals.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Irondale was trounced by Park (Cottage Grove, MN), 62-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bengals battle the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Blaine will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 83-68 non-league win over Chaska (Chaska, MN).
