The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA). The Rockets come into the Rolling Hills challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Paton-Churdan edged West Harrison (Mondamin, IA), 64-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Boyer Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 81-56 league loss to Ridge View (Holstein, IA).
