In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers basketball team scored a close 80-78 win over the Grayson County Cougars.
The Fighting Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets come into the District 11 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Hancock County edged Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY), 83-6, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Grayson County will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 58-52 league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY).
