The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) and the visiting Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ), observed Canyon View's basketball team knock off Verrado by a score of 65-55.
The Jaguars (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Sunrise Mountain was knocked off by Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 70-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vipers encounter the Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Verrado will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 68-45 non-league loss to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ).
