Texas High School Basketball - Southwest overwhelms Carter-Riverside

December 17, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76133

The Southwest Raiders basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Carter-Riverside Eagles to 23 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dunbar for a 4A Region I District 8 game on Thursday, December 19. Southwest will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 59-31 league win over Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Carter-Riverside falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 4A Region I District 8 game on Thursday, December 19. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 3-11. Western Hills lost 67-50 in their recent league game against Benbrook (Benbrook, TX)
